Dear manixxxo,I do not understand what you are specifically trying to do. In the fields you said you wanted, you did not have a quantity filed. If you are keeping track of inventory, you would need a quantity field. Nevertheless, I have made a simple template that I will send to you. You will have to send an email to my ExcelIsFun gmail account.--ExcelIsFun

Hi, my stup is very simple: Date, item, code, unit, price, total, customer. It is a tiny store and want excel to automatically tell me how many items I have left of each item, say 10 items. I don´t want to use this as a substitute for a more specific inventory software out there but I´m just curious how it can be done. Thanks for your reply! :-)

Dear manixxxo,Keeping track of inventory is probably not something you want to do with a Pivot Table. You probably want to use a table with formulas. If you tell me more details about your setup, maybe I can make a template for you and make a video.--ExcelIsFun

Hi Excellsfun, thanks for your videos! :-)¿How do you build a pivot table to keep track of a simple inventory system? Say, I have 50 items of this product and today I sell 3, and next day 1, and so on? I´m a newbie. :-)
