The melody was written by a french composer in ... 1956 ;)In 1977, Loulou discovers the song is one of his own melody and sues Morris Albert a few years later after finding his official residence in California. The lawsuit is pronounced in 1987 in favor of Loulou Gaste, and is officially the sole creator of the song. (Wikipedia)
